Here are the features and capabilities released in December 2024:

  • Empty trailer check-in allows gate attendants to designate empty trailers as "shipping" or "receiving" to facilitate check-in workflows for trailers that are empty or not registered with inventory from WMS.

  • “Needs attention” workflow allows yard managers to mark trailers in need of extra attention and remove the flag after the issue is resolved, facilitating easy identification, processing and resolution of yard activities.

  • “Shuttle” trailer recycling logic enables shuttles that work outside of the normal dispatch yard workflow to drop inventory at dock doors and label as “occupied” without having a trailer physically located at the door and to conduct multiple check-in and check-out passes of the equipment through the yard without triggering dispatch to WMS.

  • Ignoring equipment on arrival or departure allows customers to focus Yard Management on vehicles that need to be tracked coming in and out of the yard. For example, a yard operator can select unrelated vehicles/equipment (a garbage truck, maintenance truck, etc.) to be ignored by the system.
